The perfect balance

Crichton Court allows you both independence and assistance.

Located seaside in beautiful Henley Beach, Crichton Court offers nineteen assisted living units, providing the perfect balance of independence  and assistance.

Unlike traditional retirement homes, Crichton Court is designed for older adults who want to maintain their independence while receiving some extra support around the house.

Assistance includes light cleaning, meal services and linen exchange.

 

 

Your living space.

Each unit features:

  • Separate living room and bedroom with built-in robes.
  • Galley kitchen equipped with a small cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave.
  • Reverse-cycle air-conditioning for year-round comfort.
  • Personal bathroom, ensuring convenience and privacy.

Community spaces.

Communal areas offer both assistance and connection:

  • Communal dining space for a shared daily meal.
  • Shared lounge with TV and kitchenette for socialising.
  • Communal laundry available for personal washing (with linen exchange provided by ECH).
  • Well maintained communal courtyard and garden areas.

Wellness Services on your doorstep

ECH Crichton Court is conveniently located next to ECH Henley Beach Wellness Centre, offering a range of allied health services such as Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Group Fitness and Therapeutic Exercise Programs.

The centre also offers respite Day Programs for carers wanting a break, and is also a pick up location for many of ECH’s Community Bus Trips.

These services can all be accessed on a self-funded basis or through a Home Care Package.

Let us take care of a few things.

Included in your weekly rental rate:

  • Weekly bed linen exchange options offered
  • Weekly domestic assistance (including vacuum, mop, and full bathroom clean).
  • A nutritious and freshly prepared lunch served daily.
  • Provisions for breakfast and light evening meals for preparation in your unit (including tea, coffee, milk, condiments, and a selection of breakfast items and easy-to-serve evening meals).
  • Tissues and toilet paper.
  • Water, electricity, building insurance and emergency services levy.
  • Maintenance of the units and grounds.

Please note:

  • Crichton Court is pet-free to ensure a peaceful living environment for all residents.
  • Residents are responsible for their own telephone and internet setup and ongoing costs.
  • All residents are responsible for insuring their contents.
  • Only on-street parking is available at Crichton Court.
  • To be eligible for a home at Crichton Court, applicants must be 65 years or older and retired.
  • Once a place is offered, residents pay a residential tenancies bond and two weeks rent in advance. Following this, rent is paid by direct debit every two weeks as per the Residential Tenancies Act South Australia.
