ECH Get Connected Social Programs and events offer a fun and friendly way for you to meet new people, explore hobbies, and stay engaged with a vibrant community.

Participating in social programs can greatly improve mental wellbeing by fostering connections, reducing isolation, and promoting a sense of belonging.

So, whether you want to make new friends, explore a new hobby, or just enjoy some great company, our Get Connected Social Programs are designed for you make more connections and enjoy more experiences.

Each event is supported by ECH Community Connections Leads or volunteer, you can feel confident knowing there will be a friendly face to greet you and be there if you need support.

With both free and paid events, from creative workshops to lunch clubs, and special events – there’s something for everyone. It’s a chance to stay active, meet like-minded people, and enjoy life to the fullest. At ECH, we’re here to help you stay connected and engaged with a vibrant community.

    • We offer a range of paid and free events. Past events and programs have included golf, bus tours, lunch and board game meet ups, writing courses, art classes and more.

      Plus, as an ECH client you get access to exclusive free events like theatre tickets, and intimate talks from authors and guest speakers.

    • All events are available on a self-fund basis. If you are over 65 you may qualify for a Home Care package or Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) which may cover all or part of the fee for the Program. Contact us to find out more.

    • Transport isn’t included for events, but we’re more than happy to arrange an ECH transportation service to take you there and back. We also offer personal care and Support to provide Home Support Team member to accompany you to the event if you need a little extra help.
